2004
The
New Year began with our usual party and we had a great time
- posh frocks for the ladies and bow ties for the men.
In January we enjoyed a skittles evening at the Rose &
Crown, Thurnby - pie & chips all round!
Our P.S.E weekend on 14-15th February had a “love”
theme. On Sat. our “valentine messages” (anonymous
of course!) were posted into a box, and then read out during
the evening, some heartfelt greetings and others just humorous
, causing quite a laugh!!
On Sunday the service were taken by PSE members again with
the theme of love - love through music, popular songs, hymns
and choruses, and, as perfected in the Bible.
Our Table games evening went very well in March - Jenga,
Dominoes, Sorry! Etc. We completed a 300 piece Jigsaw during
the evening; thank goodness we found the missing piece!
If you would like to go on the bus trip to Skeggy on May
22nd, make sure you put your name on the list in the porch.
It will be a great day out!
